Webmaster's note: Amy Gulick is currently working on a book on Alaska's Tongass National Forest for Mountaineers Books. It is due to be released in 2010.

Award winning nature photographer and writer, Amy Gulick, will share her stories and images of her adventures photographing wildlife. From tracking polar bears in the Arctic to swimming with humpback whales in Mexico, Gulick inspires us to take a look at wildlife around the world and under our noses in our own backyards.

Amy Gulick is a photographer and writer specializing in nature, wildlife, outdoor recreation and conservation. Her work has appeared in National Wildlife, Nature's Best, Audubon, Sierra, Canoe & Kayak, and other publications. She is a founding Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers, a Philip Hyde Grant recipient and Mission Award winner of the North American Nature Photography Association, and a recipient of the Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Award of the Society of American Travel Writers Association.
