Every year the Mazamas hosts a used equipment sale, where gently used climbing, backpacking, hiking and XC skiing gear is offered to the general public at great prices. The sale will take place at the Mazama Mountaineering Center (SE 43rd and Stark, Portland, OR) on Saturday, March 29th from 9:00-2:00. View the event details.

Nordic and telemark ski gear, snowshoes, all kinds of outdoor clothing, assorted (and we do mean assorted!) camping and backpacking gear, shoes and boots, books and technical climbing gear will all be available. This is a great chance to clean out your gear room of unneeded stuff, make a buck, help out the Mazamas and find some great deals yourself.

This year, the group is working with REI, OMC, Mt. Shop and Climb Max as well as Omega Pacific, who will be offering limited amounts of new gear (blemished, overstock or discontinued items) at excellent discounts over retail. They are also working with FISH Emergency Services to collect items such as warm clothes and backpacks for the needy.
