Here's your chance to contribute to the new Mountaineers Headquarters! This coming weekend, Gene Yore, the Project Manager overseeing the restoration/construction of the new Mountaineers Building, will host work parties at Magnuson Park.

The goal of these work parties is to tear down the shed in what will become the south climbing plaza. In addition to salvaging materials to be reused for other parts of the new headquarters, these work parties will help offset some of the construction cost. Furthermore, it represents a unique opportunity to come together with your fellow members to do some worthwhile work for the club!

Mountaineers coming together for construction projects is not a new phenomenon - volunteer members built all of the lodges AND the Tacoma Clubhouse. You don't need construction experience. All you need is some enthusiasm and willingness to work!
