"Hello,
I am currently working on a new cable series for AETN/Mark Burnett Productions. We are looking to cast five people who have extensive outdoor/extreme adventure skills i.e. wilderness survival experts, mountaineers, big game hunting, kayakers, etc. Instead of just pursuing actors, I thought that I would reach out to your club to see if anyone would be interested in auditioning for our show.
We are looking for both male & female participants at least 18 years of age. They must be in good physical condition because this show is going to be physically demanding. We are probably going to start shooting late Fall-early Winter and will probably work 35-40 days in an international setting. This is not a competition like "Survivor". This is the first episode of the series and if all goes well, we hope to do two episodes per year. Unfortunately, I am not able to provide more specific information due to the secrecy involved with projects in the developmental stage.
If any of your members feel they are right for this, please have them email me a recent picture and a list of their outdoor/adventurer skills.
