Fun! Friends! Fitness! Family! Grab your skis and head to Mazama for the first MVSTA ski event of the season, The Methow Ski Rodeo on Saturday, December 29th.

This fun-filled, freestyle race is held in the heart of Mazama and offers distances for all ages and abilities. Ski in a traditional timed race wearing a fun hat of your choice with results and awards, or opt for a non-competitive event where the main objective is to have as much fun as possible! Enjoy cookies, pastries, and hot drinks during the awards ceremony and a random prize drawing at the Mazama Community Center following the event. Head on out to Mazama to burn off those holiday feasts or just cheer on your friends & family!

Younger racers choose from a 1K and 2.5K and older racers choose from a 5K or 10K. For Information about kids’ age groups and to register on-line visit www.mvsta.com.

Registration fees are $6 for the 2.5, $12 for the 5k and $16 for the 10K (the 1K is free). No family pays over $40! Awards and refreshments are included in the race fee.
