Oct. 11 & 18: A Gear Swap and a Gear GrabKitsap Gear Swap

Kitsap Cabin, 3000 Seabeck Hwy., Bremerton
If you would like to trade items or share information about how to best pack for day hikes or backpacking, come to the swap at Kitsap Cabin. Directions to the cabin are available at www.kitsapmountaineers.org. The Gear Swap is a great way to learn about how to get started on outings or how to go lighter and a wonderful chance to find a good home for some unused gear or add to your own gear collection.
Seattle Gear Grab
October 18, 6:30 - 9 p.m.
The Mountaineers Building
The Annual Gear Grab, sponsored by the Seattle Branch Youth Committee, will be held Thu., Oct. 18, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The Gear Grab features gently-used (and sometimes unused!) gear at garage-sale prices. It is likely the last Gear Grab to be held at the current headquarters in lower Queen Anne. See the Youth Committee section on pg. 16 of the October Go Guide for more details.
