A lecture by renowned photographer and conservationist Robert Glenn Ketchum

A look at conservation and the development of the National Park system, beginning with Watkins and Muybridge in Yosemite in the mid-1800’s, William Henry Jackson in Yellowstone, and Weston, Adams, Eliot Porter and the birth of the American public’s environmental consciousness in the 1970’s. Current imagery from contemporary photographer’s working in many different directions will also be highlighted.
