A lecture by renowned photographer and conservationist Robert Glenn Ketchum
A look at conservation and the development of the National Park system, beginning with Watkins and Muybridge in Yosemite in the mid-1800s, William Henry Jackson in Yellowstone, and Weston, Adams, Eliot Porter and the birth of the American publics environmental consciousness in the 1970s. Current imagery from contemporary photographers working in many different directions will also be highlighted.
