Linda Moore

TBD

Experience backpacking in remote wild areas in north/central BC, far away from our crowded NW trails. Expect to view great scenery, abundant wildlife, and possible northern lights. (2013 is a good NL year!)

Destinations TBD soon:
3-5 day photo-oriented backpacks in northern/central BC's provincial parks and other public lands in Tumbler Ridge area and north (possibilities: Monkman, Wapati/Onion Lk, Stone Mtn & Rocky Mtn, Wokkposh Valley). Options for day hike in Boulder Gardens' bizarre rocky maze or a paleo day hike (see fossils, dinosaur trackways) in Tumbler Ridge area (Flat/Wolverine Crks), or Flower Ridge in Stone Mtn Prov Park.

Guidebooks/descriptions: Exploring Tumbler Ridge, Exploring Prince George: A Guide to North Central BC Outdoors (Stone/Wokkpash, p 66-74), Best of BC - Natural Highs (Stone Mtn/Wokkposh, p 231-3), and BC Provincial Parks website (for Monkman, Stone Mtn, Northern Rocky Mtns).
