Upper Dungeness to Camp Handy/833.2
Sue Labrie (Qualified Youth Leader)
Church of the Nazarene
An easy walk through old growth forest along the Dungeness River to a backpackers campground with an Olympic National Park Shelter in a sunny sub-alpine meadow.
If you are coming across the Sound from the Seattle side and want to walk on the Edmonds/Kingston ferry, I can pick you up on the Kingston side when the ferry lands. I have room for up to 3 passengers. Please contact me in advance to make arrangements. We will then meet up with the rest of the group at the Church of the Nazarene in Poulsbo and carpool to the trailhead.
