Hike to Milderd Point. Hard snow expected. Will need snowshoes or crampons.

This is a conditioner for Tacoma Basic Climbing students. Roundtrip is 11 miles with about 3,000ft in elevation gain. You will need your pack weighing 25lbs or 20% of your body weight and 10 essentials. Snow shoes are required, and yak-trax might be helpful for the first two miles. Dress and prepare for the weather, we go rain (or snow) or shine. We will meet by 6:45 and leave the parking lot promptly at 7:00am. Be ready for an all-day outing.
