Longmire

Park entry fee required. Drivers may be required to not only have snow chains, but may be required to install them at Longmire. We will meet at Longmire at 930 am.

This is an easy snowshoe on a loop (closed to traffic) by the Paradise road. The trip will be leisurely and suitable for those new to snowshoeing. We will demonstrate navigation techniques. If you have a GPS, we will answer questions on setup and use. If you have a handheld GPS, the coordinates, UTM, for the start of the loop are 10T 593394 5180569.
