Stevens Pass
Smith Brook Road/FS6700 is on the dryer side of the Cascade Crest, 3.5 miles NE of Stevens Pass. The unplowed road follows Smith Brook northward and offers several miles of gently ascending terrain while allowing easy forays off the road to explore untracked forest.
We'll have a later start to avoid the heaviest Stevens Pass ski traffic. Come prepared with snowshoes, sturdy boots, cotton-free layered clothing, the 10 essential systems and a ready-for-fun attitude! I will email a map in JPG format along with driving directions and other essential information to trip participants prior to Saturday.
