Camp Robber Peak 6286’ is in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness south of Skykomish at the high point of the divide between Camp Robber Valley and Big Heart Lake. It is located about one mile from the north end of Big Heart Lake. Due to its remote location it is seldom climbed and takes a concerted effort to summit in one day.

DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS:
Take US 2 past Skykomish Ranger Station and turn right on Foss River Road. Travel to West Foss Fork TH (Road 68). Driving distance and time are 69 miles and 1 3/4 hours from Seattle 65th Park & Ride, less if driven non-stop. Arrive by 6:30 am. Forest Passes are required.

GEAR:
- Ice Axes are required.
- Trekking poles are recommended.

ROUTE:
Take the trail past Trout Lake and Copper Lake to Little Heart Lake. Head along the east shore of Little Heart Lake (east shore is less brushy and easier). From SW side of Little Heart Lake head up gulley to saddle at 5140’. From saddle head southeasterly skirting Big Heart Lake and pick up ridge lead to summit at approximately 4800’. Then head SW to peak.

NOTE FOR SCRAMBLERS:
You need to be in top shape and able to go at a good pace for 15 miles and over 5000+ feet.
