Field Trip 2 - Marymoor Park

There are more than 200 bird species that have been observed at Marymoor Park by walking the Audubon BirdLoop, which features some of the best birding opportunities in the park. More birds are seen at Marymoor every year as other habitat is degraded and Marymoor habitat is upgraded.
From I-405 at SR-520 in Bellevue: :
Take SR- 520 eastbound to West Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE in Redmond - 5 miles Take the W. Lake Sammamish Pkwy Exit ("exit only" right lane – exit for Redmond Towne Center). At the bottom of the off-ramp, turn right. Go 1 block to the traffic light at Marymoor Way. This is the Marymoor Park west entrance. Turn left into the park. :
From Seattle: :
Take SR-520 east from I-5 across the Evergreen Point floating bridge. At I-405, follow directions above. or: Take I-90 east across floating bridge and across Mercer Island to I-405. Head north on I-405. At SR-520 eastbound, follow directions above. :
Parking Fee: $1. per car per day
Parking Lot is near the off-leash area. There is a $1.00 parking fee.
Remember to bring your binoculars and your field guide. Dress for the weather. We will be birding in the area for 2-3 hours and you will want to be comfortable rain or shine.
