Canyon Creek - North Cascades
05/25/13 (Sat) - 05/26/13 (Sun)
This trip starts with the thundering of deep chasms and crashing creeks. In late spring thousands of calypso orchids help perk up the forest floor in purple. Will you time it right? Trip-goers will get occasional glimpses of waterfalls and mountains and possibly explore an abandoned mill site. This trip has historical relevance related to the earlier mining and prospecting in the area. The group can camp near Mill Creek.
