Aqua Verde Paddle Club, Seattle

This is a student paddle that meets one of the required paddles to graduate from the Tacoma Mountaineers Basic Class. Students that need kayak rental have priority with this paddle. The cost is $60 paid at the launch. You will need to make your own arrangements for your dry suit rental. This paddle will explore Portage Bay houseboats, go through Montlake Cut to Union Bay to the Washington Park Arboretum. Wet exits/re-entries & assisted rescues will be practiced near the end of the paddle.
