This is an SKII student paddle that meets the requirements for one of the paddles for graduation from the Tacoma Mountaineers Basic Kayak Class. Students that need boat rental have priority with this paddle. Kayak rental is available at the launch site at Burton Acres Park,Vashon Island for $50. The paddle will be in the northern harbor to Dockton Park. We will have discussions about tides & the wildlife we see. Wet exits/re-entry & assisted rescues will be practiced at the end of the paddle.
