The intended goal is Doggone (aka K-9) – Pt 6,062 ~1/2 mile south of Murphy Lakes on the Scenic USGS. Topo gives it ~4,200’ of gain, 9 miles. We'll approach from Scenic via Murphy Lakes. Stable avalanche conditons will be necessary for this one. Adverse conditions could make for a late change in destination.
