Mt. Angeles is the highest peak in the Hurricane Ridge peak group at 6454'. Start at the Switchback trail parking, 2.9 miles below the Hurricane Ridge visitors center. Go up ca. .5 mile where it meets the Hurricane Ridge trail. Go left (W) and leave the trail after only 100 yards in a gully leading N up to Mt. Angeles. Follow this gully to the pass just S. of the summit and climb up the rock from there. Under stable snow conditions, this is a great winter ascent that can start right at the parking area and lead directly to the summit.
