This three meeting, one field trip course will give you the information and special skills you need to plan and execute an expedition to Denali (aka Mt. McKinley). Meetings will include discussion of equipment, food, team dynamics, logistics, route selection, winter/expedition camping and accident & altitude illness prevention. There will also be a special Altitude Illness presentation by Andrew Luks.
You must be a Basic Climbing Graduate or Equivalent (Leader's Permission automatically granted) -OR- have the permission of the course leaders to participate. If you need to request permission, please include your raesons for wanting to take this seminar, how/where you learned to climbing and a copy of your climbing résumé.
