MEETING PLACE:
Meet inside the Issaquah Transit Center parking garage on the first floor in the Northeast corner at 7:00 AM. Call me on my cell phone at 425-442-6411 if you are running late and want us to wait for you.

GEAR:
- Ice Axe is always required.
- Snowshoes with aggressive points on the bottom such as MSR.
- Crampons are required for this trip.
- Avalanche beacon, shovel, probe and the skills to use them are highly recommended but not required for participation.
- No parking pass is required

ROUTE:
We will drive I-90 like we are going to Granite Mountain, but instead of turning left toward the Granite/Pratt Lake trailhead, we turn right and follow the road up between the two sections of I-90. We won’t be able to drive all the way to the trailhead, but should be able to get to just below the campground.
We will walk up the road to the trailhead then follow the trail under the west bound lanes of I-90 and up the valley to just before Hemlock Pass (4400’), where we turn northeast and climb to the basin between Bryant Peak and Hemlock Peak, (but not all the way to the col). From there we ascend Bryant. Those that brought their paraglider can fly down to Source Lake and Alpental Ski Area. The rest of us will slog our way back down the mountain.

NOTE: In the event of high avy danger we will snowshoe to Mt Catherine from the Lake Annette trail head.
