A strenuous snowshoe past frozen icicles through the woods to a snow clad peak. A short drive. Views of Mt. Rainier, Seattle and North Bend if the day is clear. Round trip distance about 10 miles with ~3300 ft of elevation gain. Bring ice axe, showshoes, shovel if you have one, snacks, winter gear.
