This trip is a loop I regularly do on Forest Service roads around Amabilis. From the Sno Park, it is about 11 miles long. It is a great winter conditioner, with some pretty nice views of the central Cascades (Summit Chief, Chimney, Lemah) in decent weather. Typically, it's about a 6 hour round trip depending on snow conditions. We will only do the loop if snow conditions permit and the party is strong enough to finish it.
