A moderate climb to great views of Mount Rainier, Mount Baker, Puget Sound and Seattle. Green Mountain is the second highest point on the Kitsap Peninsula. Trail is open to dogs, horses, mountain bikes, and motorbikes; so watch for traffic.
Green Mtn. (E)(USGS Wildcat Lake) 5 mi. RT. Gain, 1000'. Family hike, especially for children, but anyone is welcome on this second-highest peak on the Kitsap Peninsula for good views of Puget Sound, the Seattle skyline, Mt. Rainier and the Olympics.
