For the first few miles we'll walk a gravel road to the top of East Tiger for the most expansive views in the Tiger system (if clouds, snow and mud conditions allow). Then we'll find our way along the East Tiger Trail to the hikers hut and more views near West Tiger 1 before heading out via Poo Poo Point. This is a conditioning hike, so we'll try to keep a brisk pace with few rest stops. Bring microspikes and be prepared to handle mud; also dress for wet and chilly weather. Everyone should have the Green Trails map and a compass or GPS, as it's very easy to get turned around in this trail system. If it is >50% chance of rain the trip may be cancelled or moved.
