Elevation gain likely to be a total of 3500 - 4000 depending on how many runs we make on the south side of Castle Peak

Intermediate or better backcountry skiing or backcountry boarding level expected. Skier oriented trip. Skins, beacon, shovel, probe required. The destination is subject to change based on conditions and the opening time for the Longmire gate. Leader permission required if you have not successfully completed at least one Mountaineers M1 or M2 trip.
