Fresh Water Ducks in Winter Workshop

Would you like to be able to identify common dabbling and diving ducks that grace our local lakes in the winter? If so, we hope you will sign up for a two-hour workshop on Tuesday evening, December 4 and a field trip the following Saturday morning (December 8, 8:30 – 11 am) to see them first-hand.

In addition to identification tips, you’ll also learn about the fascinating ecology, behavior and breeding of these beautiful water birds.

The workshop is limited to 24 participants. Study Group members automatically have permission to sign up. Non-Study Group members should contact the leader for permission on a space-available basis.

It will meet in the Cascade Room of the Program Center.
