5th grade students from John Muir Elementary School will join Mountaineers volunteers at Seward Park to learn about Map & Compass, follow an Awareness Trail, and complete a Service Learning Project. These are kids who get very little exposure to the outdoors and are excited to learn new things! We'll need volunteers to lead each of the activities.
We will host 3 5th grade classrooms for a Stewardship project and other activities. (First Aid, LNT, Awareness trail).We will rotate through 3 stations of activities in the morning and the Audubon society will host a stewardship project after lunch. Please sign up to volunteer! Thank you!
