A get-acquainted opportunity for students enrolled in the Basic Alpine Climbing Course. Meet instructors, leaders, and other students;buy and discuss the course text, Mountaineering: The Freedom of the Hills; check out clothing and gear from local outdoor equipment vendors, some of whom will offer special discounts for our students. Not a mandatory course activity but highly recommended.
Food and beverages provided. Please register so we know how much to order.
