Ravenna Park & Ride (65th & Ravenna)

The Coulee Corridor is a prime location for viewing and photographing birds and waterfowl. In the spring, thousands of lesser sandhill cranes migrate through this area. Other birds to be see include barn and long-eared owls, yellow-headed and red-winged blackbirds, great blue herons, black-crowned night herons, great egrets, prairie falcons, golden eagles, and many more.

Be sure to bring your camping gear as we will be camping at both Potholes State Park and Sun Lakes State Park. Sites are first come, first served at this time of year, but I don't expect it to be a problem.

A super telephoto lens is recommended for this trip. You can rent one fairly cheaply at
