Five day four night backpack going up Ingalls Creek where we will spend 2 nights in the vicinity of Turnpike Creek with a day to explore the area around Stuart Pass. Five day four night backpack going up Ingalls Creek where we will spend 2 nights in the vicinity of Turnpike Creek with a day to explore the area around Stuart Pass. We'll then take the County Line trail and establish another camp beneath Navaho Pass where we'll again spend 2 nights with a day to ascend The Three Brothers. We'll be doing up to 12 miles and 3000' elevation gain each day. The County Line trail is no longer maintained so expect some difficulties with route finding. There will be great views of the Enchantments and Mt. Stuart. The destination for this trip will depend on the status of the fire near Cle Elum, although in a recent conversation with a ranger, I was told it was 90% contained and the smoke is going to the east.
