This is a short, but nice hike to a recently repaired fire lookout. Current guidebooks do not include recent upgrades to the trail and road to the trailhead. We will follow a newly built 2007) trail that switchbacks through wildflowers and interesting rock walls. The lookout itself has been repaired making it a nice lunch stop. This is a kids hike; however, everyone is welcome. We hike as fast as the slowest participant.
