If you want to be a 5.9 alpine leader, then it helps to be able to climb 5.9. Tieton is a great place to develop crack climbing technique. Royal Columns on Saturday and The Bend on Sunday have a variety of finger, hand, and off width climbs. Athletic tape and hexes useful.
