Turnout just past Beverly Creek Campground

DeRoux Creek
The trail is fairly level for about 1 ½ miles, passing a Shooting star-filled meadow and staying in the forest above DeRoux Creek. Then we’ll hike up switchbacks with a stop at a sunny buttress with plants that occupy open rocky spaces.
We’ll hike at an easy pace with stops to identify plants or birds and will go as far as the snow allows.
A Forest Service trail pass is needed at the trailhead.
