Two to three day Memorial Day Weekend trip. Must be able to paddle 16 miles in windy conditions (who knows, right?). Must have previous camping experience. Launch from Point Defiance boat launch, cross to Vashon Island, head up Colvos Passage to the north east tip of Vashon Island. Overnight at Wingehaven or, if group is up to it, Blake Island (adds 2.5 miles, for a total of 16 NM for the day). Sunday head down East Passage to Pt. Robinson (14 NM). Overnight at Pt. Robinson. Monday, Head back to Pt. Defiance (8 NM). Would qualify for the Colvos Passage portion for a paddle pin.

This will be a fairly strenuous paddle because of the number of miles we will paddle each day, so participants must be in reasonably good physical condition (although our pace will be moderate.) We will be making some open-water crossings, and participants must be comfortable in wind waves of up to 2 feet and wind conditions of up to 15 kts.
