Hike a new trail to views of many of the Central Cascades from Beckler’s East Peak (the highest of 3 peaks). This trail, which was officially opened in Sept, 2011, begins through an alder forest on grassy old roads. It then takes you on new tread upward through old growth forest to the summit. Meet at 8:00 a.m. at the Preston Park & Ride – Exit 22 I-90. (150 miles round trip drive to trailhead.) No registration, members only. Ralph Owen, 425-746-1070
