We’ll make a fast and fun run on strong springs to camp at little Doe Island off of Orcas Island. Optional dinner and/or hot tubbing depending on availability of facility. Return to launch site on Sunday.We will encounter ferry lanes, tide rips, breaking waves, possibly opposing wind with fast currents so strong bracing/rescue skills, immersion wear (drysuit preferred) and solid group cohesion are required. If you own and can properly operate a tow belt and marine radio please bring them. We can pause for play in some rips if conditions are good and a helmet is recommended if you do. Limit 5 paddlers.
