One of North Cascades' premier forest hikes with groves of big trees. Travel from Thunder Arm of Diablo Lake, along Thunder Creek with occasional views of North Cascades' peaks and glaciers, and seasonal abundant wildflowers or fall colors. Camps are abundant, including Neve, McAllister, Tricouni and Junction. Options for side trips to Fourth of July Pass or mid-summer or later extension to Park Creek Pass.
