Former Food Pavilion parking lot in Smokey Point
Hike along a "ghost forest" to arrive at the nice sandy beach of Black Lake with views of the surrounding ridges.
Early meeting time due to long drive to the trailhead. A gentle hike along a babbling creek to a pretty lake in the Pasayten Wilderness. Witness the remains of the 2003 wildfire that seared the forest.
