This is a strenuous but beautiful hike up to past the Yellowstone cliffs and through the Windy Gap to a spectacular Natural Bridge with views of Lake James and Grand Park. Be warned - if you have issues with heights the Natural Bridge is not for you. The climb is fairly continuous and steady from the river up to Yellowstone gaining just under 3000 feet in 2.7 miles. We can discuss riding Mt bikes in from Carbon River to the Ipsut Campground - this can make it quite pleasant to ride out once we descend. Pace will be strenuous as we have 24 miles to cover.
