This hike will begin at the intersection of the PCT and Forest Road 5603 and end at Walput Lake. Distance is 17 miles with 1800 elevation. PCT milage is 13.7 miles. Cars will need be staged at both ends of the hike. Camp sites will be reserved at Walput Lake on Friday and Saturday evenings. On Sunday, the Nannie Ridge/Sheep Lake loop hike will be offered leaving from Walput Lake. Participants are welcome to sign up for both hikes if space is available. This hike is part of the PCT Series. Mountaineer Members that are part of the PCT Series have Leader Permission to sign up for an event after May 14th based on their lottery trip choices. Individuals not part of the PCT Series may sign up for two PCT Series hikes per year and may sign up for thtis activity no sooner than 10 days prior to the activity date, if space is available and at leader discretion.
