This hike will begin at Rainey Pass and end at Cutthroat Creek trailhead with a side trip to Cutthroat Lake. The larches should be golden at this time of year. Mileage is 11 miles with 2000 feet elevation. PCT mileage is 5 miles. This hike is the second day of 2 hikes in the North Cascades. This hike will begin at Rainey Pass and end at Cutthroat Creek trailhead with a side trip to Cutthroat Lake. The larches should be golden at this time of year. Mileage is 11 miles with 2000 feet elevation. PCT mileage is 5 miles. This hike is the second day of 2 hikes in the North Cascades. We will be car camping at a campround in North Cascades on Saturday evening. Participants may sign up for one or both hikes based on space availability. Cars will be stationed at both trailheads for this hike. The hike on Saturday is Stilleto Peak Loop and is a loop hike. This hike is part of the PCT series. Mountaineer Members that are part of the PCT series have Leader Permission to sign up after May 14th based on their lottery trip choices. Individuals not part of the PCT series may sign up for two PCT series hikes per year and may sign up for this activity no sooner than 10 days prior to activity date if space is availalbe and at leader discretion.
