In the northwest corner of MRNP pick up the trail at Mowich Lake and head to Tolmie Peak, with Eunice Lake as a good rest stop before and after heading up to the Tolmie Peak Lookout. A swim in Eunice Lake is a great way to cool down on a hot summer day.

Some of mine are that the journey is more important than the destination and, if we are going to make the effort to organize our gear, drive to the trailhead and hike up the trail we should spend as much time in the endeavor as possible. For the safety and enjoyment of everyone on the trip I need to know what the overall experience and preparedness (clothing, equipment, conditioning, courses taken) of everyone on the trip is.
