Part of the TACOMA CENTENNIAL - IRISH CABIN celebration. This is one of several trips planned on August 4th to commemorate the 9 peaks in one day record of Leroy Ritche and Les Faseg back in 1953. See www.tacomamountaineers.org, centennial section for background story. This trip will start from Mowich Lake and traverse over to Tolmie Peak and back, with picnic celebration at 4pm. Hike Leader plans on car-camping at Mowich Lake, so will not be arranging car pooling.
