phelps creek trailhead
from phelps creek trailhead head up spider meadow and over Spider gap. Descend to Lyman lakes (camp spot) and back up to cloudy pass. From here follow the ridge to cloudy peak. From Cloudy peak continue on the ridge to N Star Mountain. Descent can be via ascent route or directly down hill.
This is a 26 mile two day scramble on a wide range of terrain. Participants need to be in excellent shape and ready for a challenging weekend.
