TRIP
Seattle Snowshoeing

SuJ'n Chon   (Qualified Youth Leader)

9:30 AM

Verlot Ranger Station

The trails climbs 1,100 ft in two miles making this a nice little workout on snowshoes. On the other hand, the lower elevation of this hike means the trail is often hikeable with boots and traction devices for much of the winter season. The heavily forested trail ends at a beautiful alpine lake nestled against the north face of Mount Pilchuck. NW Forest Pass required.
NOTE: Priority will be given to recent Seattle Basic Snowshoe graduates.

Have President's Day off? Enjoy the holiday in the snow!

In addition to snowshoes and poles, traction devices are highly recommended. Drivers needed.

If there are enough newly graduated Basic Snowshoe students, we may take a slightly more leisurely pace to practice skills.

Contact Leader for questions.
