Longmire Parking lot next to Museum
Car/snowshoe trip to Mt. Rainier. Participants must bring showshoes for short treks to interesting photographic vantage points. A $15 park permit is required.
The plan for this winter photography trip is to start the day hiking to Reflection Lake over Mazama Ridge. We will return using the back road. The rest of the day will be spent snowshoeing to different locations around Paradise (and Longmire) in search of interesting photographic vantage points.
If the weather conditions are poor leading up to the trip, I may push the date out by a week or two to help improve our chances for a successful event.
