Kloochman Rock – Southwest Route USGS Tieton Basin or GT Rimrock Ref: Beckey 1 or Hiking Washington's Goat Rocks Country This is a short, fun scramble usually done as a summer route. Depending on conditions, we may set up a handline. Please bring snowshoes or skis for the approach. Be prepared for winter driving on Forest Service roads – road conditions may require us to make a longer approach over level country. Bring helmet, axe, harness, carabiners & two prusiks.

We will probably set up a handline to protect the gully, and I’d like to attempt the summit block. Please bring snowshoes (preferred) or skis for the approach.
