This trip is for folks who paddle with a stick. Maybe you recently purchased a Greenland paddle or recently carved your own stick or recently took our Greenland skills class and now want to practice more with your paddle: This trip is for you. If you like, bring a Euro paddle as a spare, but the purpose of the trip is to play with your Greenland paddle.

We will paddle from Des Moines Beach Park to Point Robinson to Maury Island Marine Park to Saltwater State Park and back to the launch. Total distance will be about 10 nm.

Drysuit required. It will be cold. Wear plenty of insulation and bring extra. Bring soup / warm drink for lunch.
