Vern Brown   (Qualified Youth Leader)

10:00 AM

Suquamish

We will meet at 1000 at the new Suquamish museum, which is located at 6861 NE South Street in Suquamish. We will spend a little over an hour touring the museum (5$ admission fee) and then visit Chief Seattle's grave before beginning the paddle. If you would rather not see the museum, meet us in the parking area near the Suquamish boat ramp at 1200. This parking area is on NE Parkway and is near 18408 Angeline Avenue Northeast, Suquamish (Bella Luna pizza). We will have lunch before we launch. Bring lunch or grab a slice at Bella Luna.

Anticipate it being cold. Drysuit required. Wear adequate insulation under your drysuit and bring plenty of extra in a dry bag. You will want thick neoprene gloves or mittens. and a warm head covering. You may want to bring a thermos of hot water (and maybe a teabag or two) and a snack for our break at Fay Bainbridge Park.

Pho in Poulsbo after the paddle is optional.
